The climate in Cambodia is generally hot most of the year with the temperature only occasionally dropping as low as 20C during the cool season, December to February.
The hottest time of the year is March through May and the monsoon rains fall between June and October but this usually only means heavy falls for a couple of hours in the afternoons.
Take a hint from the Buddhist monks and carry an umbrella - it will protect you from both the rain and the burning sun.
