Abdi is the name of two or three men in the Hebrew Bible.Abdi is also a Arabic name meaning slave or servant
- In 1 Chronicles 6:44 Abdi is the son of Malluch and the father of Kishi. He is a Levite of the family of Merari.
- In 2 Chronicles 29:12 Abdi is a Levite in the time of King Hezekiah of Judah. This may be the same man as in 1 Chronicles 6:44.
- In Ezra 10:26 Abdi is the son of Elam, and one of a long list of men who had married foreign wives, and who then sent them away together with their children.
- Abdi is a shortened Muslim name. In long format it could be written as Abdi-Rahman, Abdi-Nasir, Abdi-Nuur, Abdi-Karim and etc. Usually Abdi is attached to one of God's name which intertern will transform the meaning. Abdi-Nuur for example would mean the servant of light.
- Abdi LaRue was the first person to have his email responded to by Strong Bad, of Homestar Runner fame.
