• Abergwyngregyn, a village in Gwynedd, North Wales adjacent to the A55 five miles east of Bangor, originally called Aber Garth Celyn, 'estuary of Garth Celyn',with Garth Celyn once to all extent and purpose, before the conquest, the capital of Wales. Garth Celyn now known as Pen y Bryn was the royal home of Llywelyn the Great, Dafydd ap Llywelyn and Llywelyn ap Gruffudd.
