Adamstown, Pitcairn Island
Adamstown is the only settlement of the Pitcairn Islands, and by default, the capital of the Pitcairn Islands. It is located on the central north of the island and has a population of about 45. Adamstown currently holds the record for the smallest capital in the world, yet it still has access to television, internet, and telephone lines. The city is where most residents eat and sleep, while they pick most fruit and hunt for food at other areas of the island.[1]
