Bayterek

Bayterek (Kazakh: Бəйтерек) , from the Kazakh for "poplar tree", is a popular building in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

"Bayterek" has taken huge popularity at visitors and inhabitants of Astana as the high status of a symbol of young capital.The top of a complex represents the gilt sphere crowning a crone of a mythological tree at height of 97 meters. The philosophy of "Bayterek" is interesting: it embodies a legend about a magic bird of happiness Samruk who postponed the egg on a crone of a high poplar (in translation into Kazakh "bayterek" means " a high poplar ").Here, from height of the bird's flight as on a palm it is possible to see growing in breadth and up city. Interest of visitors of capital invariable causes also the relief image of a palm of the President of the country, having touched to which, visitors think of desire.
