Carlos Eugenio Vides Casanova

Carlos Eugenio Vides Casanova was a Salvadoran defense minister, who by a jury of Miami, Florida was found guilty for the torture of three men by Salvadoran death squads during the 1980s. After his first wife died, Vides Casanova married Lourdes Llach, daughter of coffee baron, amateur astronomist, and philanthropist Prudencio Llach Schonenberg.
