Djanet
Djanet (Arabic: جانيت) is an oasis city in south-east Algeria. It is located in the wilaya of Illizi. It is inhabited by the Kel Ajjer (Kel Azjar) Tuareg people.
Djanet is also the ancient Egyptian name of the city of Tanis.
