Josef Škvorecký
Josef Škvorecký listen (born September 27, 1924 in Náchod, Czechoslovakia) is a famous contemporary Czech writer and publisher.
Škvorecký received a Ph.D. from Charles University in Prague. He has lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since 1969. In 1992 he was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
His wife Zdena Salivarová is a writer, too.
