Monte Poggiolo
Monte Poggiolo is a hill near Forlì, Italy in the Emilia-Romagna area. At Monte Poggiolo is an ancient castle named Ca’ Belvedere (for Casa Belvedere).
The area has become known since excavations have uncovered thousands Paleolithic-era artifacts in strata dated about 800,000 years before the present.
