Tate's Cairn Tunnel
Tate's Cairn Tunnel (大老山隧道) is a tunnel in Hong Kong, connecting Diamond Hill, Eastern Kowloon to Siu Lek Yuen, Sha Tin New Town in the New Territories. It is part of Route 2
Its toll plaza is situated outside its Sha Tin end, which leads to Tate's Cairn Highway and is also connected to Sha Lek Highway and various local roads. Its Kolwoon end leads to Kwun Tong Bypass and is also connected with Lung Cheung Road and several local roads.
Tate's Cairn Tunnel is the longest road tunnel in Hong Kong, with the north bound being 3913m (4281 yd) and south bound being 3945m (4316 yd) long.
