The compact campus, located in the west of Tilburg, offers ample opportunity for students to meet faculty and socialise. Out of a student population of over 11,000, 7% are international students. This percentage has steadily increased over the past years as Tilburg University has pursued a strategy of internationalisation. It offers numerous English-taught programs and has gone through great pains to attract talented teaching and research staff. According to two independent studies by the university newspapers of the University of Amsterdam and the University of Delft, Tilburg University offers the most appealing and competitive support packages when it comes to the recruitment of international staff.
