Platforms

Both platforms share the same island platform underground. A "First Train" indicator is provided at certain points of the island platform so as to tell commuters which platform to board the next train.

Entrances/Exits

The Tung Chung station concourse is on ground level. There are 4 exits in total, and 2 are on each end of the concourse.

Taxis

An Urban (Red) Taxi stand is found outside Exit A. However, it should be noted that those taxis are only allowed to get to the Airport and back to the urban area of Hong Kong. Tourists or commuters who wish to travel to most destinations on Lantau Island should queue up at the Lantau (Blue) Taxi Stand at Exit D. As the connection point between the city and Lantau, the taxi stand often gets very crowded on weekends and public holidays.

Ngong Ping Skyrail

Opened on September 18, 2006, the MTR-owned Ngong Ping Skyrail connects Tung Chung and Ngong Ping where the Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha are located. The Tung Chung Skyrail Terminal is about 200 metres away from Exit B of Tung Chung station.
